Rain has been pouring down in Northern California and will continue to do so for a week or two. So spring outfits have been put on hold for us and bring out those rainy day outfits for a minute. Have you ever woken up in the morning looked outside and saw it was pouring rain and thought, “can we just cancel today,” because you had no idea what to wear to run your errands. Fear no more lovelies, I have two outfit ideas for you ladies out there who have to go out on those rainy days!

Rain, Rain go away come again some other day. So what do I do on rainy days? Pull out my hunters and finally put them to good use! I am completely obsessed with my military red Hunter rain boots. Hunter boots are both quality and comfort, I can go about my rainy day without being afraid of my shoes getting destroyed! I had always been against rain boots, to me they reminded me of my childhood running around looking for puddles to splash, nothing about rain boots screamed grown adult to me. Boy was I wrong, hunter boots are very stylish. Yes I said it, rain boots are stylish! How?  Well because you can either dress them up (flowy dress or skater skirt) or you can dress them down (as I did). Most of us wish to stay in on rainy days, but that’s not always possible. So next time you catch yourself having to go out in the rainy weather, grab some rain boots and work those rain boots! Hunter offers a variety of styles and colors of rain boots, FYI they are above $100, but trust me this is an investment for your shoe collection. For my look I styled my Hunters with white denim, a black basic top, and of course red lips to tie the outfit together.

Outfit details: Hunter Rain Boots (in military red), American Eagle white denim , Black basic top from Charlotte Russe, Coat from Charlotte Russe (similar style here), Alex and Ani bracelets, Tory Burch Stud Earings.DSC_0004

The last outfit idea, is for when the rain is coming down a little more heavy. I would suggest adding a vest or waterproof jacket to your outfit to keep you dry, along with some rain boots to keep your feet dry. I decided to wear my J. Crew puffer vest with a white long sleeve sweater also from J. Crew. As for bottoms for this outfit you can either do leggings or jeans, I decided to wear a dark wash denim from Express. That’s all for this blog post lovelies, if it’s raining in your area stay dry and if it’s not enjoy that ray of sunshine for me!
